The Breathe Better session is a 60-minute upper-body treatment designed to improve your breathing and release tension in the muscles. The specialized approach blends breathwork, myofascial release (MFR), and massage techniques to target key areas like the neck, shoulders, chest, abdomen and back. By working with the rhythm of your breath and addressing the muscles involved in respiration, this session helps you create more space for deeper, freer breathing while easing muscle tension.

During your BREATHE BETTER session, you'll begin face up, where we'll engage in gentle breathwork, myofascial release, and massage techniques that connect you to your body. As we focus on areas like your neck, chest, and abdomen - including the diaphragm - you'll feel the tension melt away. After this initial phase, you'll turn over to experience deeper relaxation as we work on your back and lateral sides, continuing to integrate breathwork throughout the session. Each moment is crafted to nurture your body's natural rhythms and leave you feeling balanced and rejuvenated.

What is the Breathe Better treatment?

The Breathe Better treatment is a 60-minute session focused on helping you breathe easier and feel more open and connected in your body. Using gentle breathwork combined with myofascial release and massage techniques, this treatment releases tension, creates space for deeper breathing, and promotes a calm, relaxed state.

What should I wear to my appointment?

I recommend bringing athletic wear, such as a sports bra and athletic pants or shorts, to help you feel more comfortable during your treatment. While you can undress as you would for a regular massage appointment, you will be fully draped at all times, just like in a typical massage. Wearing athletic wear allows me to access the areas I need to work on the front of the body while ensuring you feel at ease. This way, you can relax and fully benefit from the session. 

What is the breathwork like?

 The breathwork is calming and gentle. Its done in coordination with the movements throughout the session. This will help your body open up to receive the treatment, build a deeper mind-body connection and tap into your nervous system.

How often should I book a Breathe Better treatment?

You will experience a difference from just one treatment; however, for the best results, I recommend booking three consecutive weekly sessions. This allows your body to fully integrate the benefits. Additionally, I will provide you home care techniques, including breathwork and self-massage exercises, to help you continue experiencing the benefits of deeper breathing. After the initial three sessions, monthly sessions work well for maintenance. 

What will I feel after the treatment?

After your session, you can expect to feel light, relaxed, and calm. Your nervous system will feel more at ease, and you'll likely notice deeper, more expansive breathing. You may also feel more open in your chest and diaphragm.

Should I do anything after the treatment?

Yes! I highly recommend rest, relaxation, hydration, and to nourish your body. This helps you get the most out of your session and gives your body time to fully intergrate the work.
